The prizes
for this years raffle have been provided to the IBPF by a few
special members. “Thank You” to them and all of you who
support the effort through the purchase of raffle tickets. This
years tickets will be provided at $1.00 each, 6 tickets for $5.00 and
15 tickets for $10.00. A book of tickets are being sent to all
IBPF members, which you may return in the envelope enclosed.
Tickets may also be purchased from any IBPF board member or by
contacting the IBPF at iowabpf@gmail.com or norma.holcomb@q.com.
The
“Super Raffle” will conclude with a drawing on June 2, 2012
at the 2012 Iowa Black Powder Federation State Chunk Gun Match.
The first name drawn will be for item #1 and the next name drawn
will be for item #2. The winners need not be present and will be
contacted in the most expedient way.
ITEM #1:
A New Lyman
“Deerstalker” Muzzleloading Rifle, 50 caliber, right
hand model. This rifle features an oil-finished walnut stock, is
fitted with Lyman front and rear hunting/target sights and is
pre-drilled and tapped to accept the Lyman 57SML receiver sight
(should the new owner so elect, not included however). This
Deerstalker also includes top quality sling swivel studs and an
unbreakable nylon ramrod. The barrel is rifled 1 turn in 48”
for assured accuracy with round balls or conical projectiles.
ITEM #2:
An
“Early’s of Whitney” trade blanket. This blanket is
76”X80” and made of the heaviest “English pure
new wool”. The color is alternating stripes of gold, black
and red. ”Nicknamed” by Early’s of Whitney
as the “Horse Rug” this early style heavy trade
blanket will make a most handsome addition to a primitive camp or home.
